Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two

Epic Mickey 2 is the sequel to the original Epic Mickey released in November of 2012. Unlike the previous game, which was exclusive to the Nintendo Wii, Epic Mickey 2 was available on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and Wii-U at launch, with Playstation Vita and Windows versions releasing later on. Epic Mickey 2 was also the last game Junction Point Studios ever made before it shut down.

Whilst most of the gameplay is the same as the original Epic Mickey, Epic Mickey 2 includes a co-op mode, where a second player can take control of Oswald, with his own set of abilities. These abilities include using his remote control to attack enemies, or power/reprogram machinery to complete certain tasks. Oswald can also use his ears to fly, or remove his limbs and use them as weapons. The game also features special abilities that can only be used when Mickey and Oswald work together.

The story takes place sometime after the events of the first game, with Wasteland going through a period of peace. However, earthquakes have been tearing through the land recently. This is when the Mad Doctor arrives on the scene, claiming to be reformed. However, Gremlin Gus, Mickey's guide from the first game, and Oswald's wife, Ortensia, do not trust him, and summon Mickey back to Wasteland to uncover whatever ulterior motives the Mad Doctor may have.

The enemies in this game are mostly returning blotlings and beetleworx from the first game, with the exception of Seers, which the developers forgot to add to the game's enemy rotation, and the addition of flying blotlings known as Dropwings. A new type of enemy was also introduced in this game, known as blotworx. These foes combine aspects of both blotlings and beetleworx, with only three known varieties, as well as a Dragon themed boss.
